Cortland, Cortland, Cortland.

You will have to bear(I looked it up, for those of you confused by this saying too- the proper bare/bear is BEAR!) with me, I am new to this blogging world. I have posted to a blog for one semester before now when my friend was studying abroad, but that was just us blabbing about our lives and getting the dirt on everything going on. THIS is a blog designed to welcome the cyber world into my day-to-day life without reservations. I've said it time and time again, someone should make a living out of following me around everyday with a camera- the documentary that could be produced would be priceless.

This marks the beginning of my journey through the next chapter in my life- the chapter that takes me one step closer to adulthood-and the chapter that has brought me back to Cortland to live for the next year or two.

You can find me in the Residence Life and Housing office typing away on my computer nowadays. Being back in Cortland has challenged me to not only move on from what seemed to be 4 of the most exciting and memorable years of my life, but to learn the trade of being a professional and surviving in an office.  Although I am still getting used to the change, I must say that the transition has been a good one. The fact that I have my own little office, equipped with it's very own air conditioner, makes me feel like a grown-up! (I understand that until I can rid my vocabulary of the term grown-up I will never be a true adult...) Anyway, the office is very casual- some might say business casual, but I assure you when they say business they don't mean it. I can even get away with wearing jeans, clean cut jeans! For those of you that are following this and took part in easing my mind about my wardrobe, I have found that most all of my clothes are suitable! That was one of my biggest concerns leading up to my first day- glad that worry has disappeared! All things considered, these past 2 weeks have been great!

And before I sign off for the night, I will let you in on a little secret...

sssshhhh, I created this blog in my office at work, hence "the typing makes me look busy" title :-) We all know I'm not a rebel, I signed up for my account when I got there in the am....but still, the title fits :-p

Stay Fresh!
